Happy Memorial Day everyone! Hope you all take a moment to remember those who have sacrificed everything so we can celebrate today. Sorry I disappeared since Friday, I was excited to start my long weekend. Such a busy weekend, 3 birthday events from family and friends, trips to Home Depot and
Merrifield Garden Center; today is just low-key kind of day.

My niece Jaime turned 4 yesterday, so I spent a few hours hanging out and play with her and her sister (Jasmine) at my parents house. They both got new Hello Kitty purses and we made Jewelry from
Word Wear Jewelry kit. The girls made key changes and bracelets, and I even got to made myself a personalized bracelet. I had such a fun time with my nieces and I’m sure they did too.

What a beautiful and hot Memorial day we have here in the DMV area. Hubby and I visited
US National Arboretum this morning and got to test out the new DSLR camera. We are still learning how to use it, but all photos below were taken by Nikon 5100 and have not been edited.
